Breckenridge Ski Resort is a world-class ski destination located in Breckenridge, Colorado, and is one of the most popular ski resorts in Colorado. It is best known for its high alpine skiing and its five distinct peaks.

Breckenridge Ski Resort has several lift options including day lift tickets and different types of EPIC Passes. Below is a breakdown of the lift passes and the key differences between the passes.
The day lift ticket can be purchased at the ticket office and online. If purchased online, you will need to pick up the lift ticket at Breckenridge ticket offices. This is almost always the most expensive option as you are purchasing at the last minute.
The Epic day passes range from 1 to 7 days with the option of restricted and unrestricted. Restricted passes cannot be used on blackout dates, while unrestricted passes can.
The Epic Local Pass gives you unlimited and unrestricted access to 29 resorts, including Breckenridge and Keystone, plus restricted access to 8 other resorts with some access limitations.
The Summit Value Pass gives you unlimited but restricted access to Breckenridge throughout the ski season. It also gives you unlimited and unrestricted access to Keystone.
This is the flagship Epic product. It has the same access as the Epic Day passes but is valid for the entire ski season with unlimited days of skiing. It is the most flexible and cheapest option if you are planning to ski more than 7 days.
Breckenridge Ski and Snowboard School offers group and private lessons as well as ski programs. The lesson can start at either Peak 8, The Village, or Beaver Run.

Breckenridge Ski Resort conveniently has a ski village, Breckenridge, located at the mountain's base. It is approximately a 2 hour drive from Denver International Airport. Breckenridge began as a Gold Rush base camp but it now has some of the best nightlife as well as being a creative destination with a dedicated Arts District. Breckenridge is also just 18.4 mile drive from Copper Mountain and 14.5 miles drive from Keystone Resort.
Breckenridge has many lodgings around the ski resort and ski town from Bed & Breakfasts and budget accommodations to luxury hotels.

January is the best month to visit Breckenridge for skiing. The snowfall is at its peak and there are fun events like Ullr Fest and the International Snow Sculpture Championships. Avoid visiting during the Christmas and New Year holidays, Martin Luther King Day, and Presidents’ Day due to crowds and high prices.
Breckenridge has many amenities including spas, many dining and shopping options as well as complimentary shuttles within the resort and parking lots. There are also plenty of winter activities to do including dog sledding, snowmobiling, snowcat tours, snowshoeing, and more.
The cost of rentals in Breckenridge varies depending on the rental shop. In general, adult sport ski/snowboard packages start from $50 per day. Helmets are an additional $12 per day. Please note the prices are subject to change.
